WinMUN VIII Philanthropy
WinMUN VIII is proud to support USA for UNHCR, a charity dedicated to providing life-saving aid and protection to refugees around the world. With this year’s General Assembly focusing on refugee issues, our philanthropy directly ties into the theme of the conference. Every contribution helps provide shelter, food, medical care, and education to displaced individuals in need—making a real difference in the lives of refugees worldwide.
Delegates can contribute by donating in committee, purchasing candy grams, and taking part in our exciting new chili-grams (more details coming soon!).
This year, we’re aiming to surpass the $800 we raised last year—maybe even hit $1,000 with the many more delegates attending WinMUN VIII! To add some friendly competition, the committee that raises the most money per capita will get the ultimate reward: the chance to pie their chair during Closing Ceremonies! So rally your committee, spread the word, and let’s make this year’s philanthropy our most successful yet!
