Will lunch be provided?
Lunch is not provided at WinMUN, however, we are fortunate enough to be located just minutes away from the heart of downtown Winchester— full of cafes, restaurants, and quick eats! On the day of the conference, we will have a handpicked list of our favorite places to eat that are not only affordable but also walkable (hooray for WBA!)
Can delegates use devices in committee?
Delegates can only use devices (computer, laptop, iPad, etc.) during committee sessions in General Assembly: UNHRC and Press Corps, but not in Specialized: Int. Olympic Committee, JCC: Berlin, 1989 and Ad-Hoc: Hunger Games. However, delegates in General Assembly UNHRC and Press Corps will only be able to use devices during unmoderated caucuses (unmods) or other specific periods at the dais’ discretion.
What is prewriting?
Prewriting is strictly prohibited at WinMUN and occurs when delegates write parts of resolutions/crisis notes, etc. before the start of committee session. Delegates are encouraged to reach out to their dais to report any incident of prewriting in committee.
